Revival Comes to Appalachia

Nestled in the heart of Appalachia in southeastern Kentucky, Clay County found itself fighting a losing battle with crime, drugs, and political corruption. With nowhere else for the law-abiding citizens to turn for relief, in May 2004 the Christians in the community cried out “Enough,” fell on their knees and began to plead with God for deliverance. God heard their prayers sending revival to their part of the state, changing the town of Manchester from a city of hopelessness to the “City of Hope.”
