The Foolishness of Man

The fool has said in his heart there is no God, but the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament sheweth His handiwork.  (Psalm 14:1; 19:1)

The wicked shall be turned into hell and all nations that forget God, but whosoever believeth in His Son shall not perish but have everlasting life.  (Psalm 9:17; John 3:16)

The soul that sinneth it shall die, but by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of anyone’s works lest man should boast.  (Ezekiel 18:20; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Pride goes before a fall, but God gives grace to the humble.  (Proverbs 16:18; James 4:6)

Man’s days are few and full of trouble, but God promises to never leave His children nor forsake them.  (Job 14:1; Hebrews 13:5)

The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who perish, but His blood was shed for the remission of sin for all who believe.  (I Corinthians 1:18; Matthew 26:28)

Those who think themselves wise become fools, but the foolishness of God is wiser than man and the weakness of God is stronger than man.  (Romans 1:22; I Corinthians 1:25)

There are those who kill thinking they do God service, but shedding innocent blood is an abomination to the LORD.  (John 16:2; Proverbs 6:16-17)

Hell is prepared for the Devil and his angels, but a place is prepared in His Father’s house for those who believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  (Matthew 25:41; John14:2,6)

The way of the wicked is as darkness, but God’s Word shines as a lamp unto man’s feet and a light unto man’s path.  (Proverbs 4:19; Psalm 119:105)
